The mission of our academy is to produce competent, skilled and knowledgeable equine professionals. Our goal is for each student to reach his or her potential on an individual basis, through practice and practical application. We provide the highest quality of instruction, as well as a healthy and encouraging atmosphere for both horse and rider.
What sets us apart from other riding academies?
At the Isaac Royal Academy of Equestrian Studies, each student is provided with numerous horses to ride from school masters to young horses. Learning to be a master on a horse takes hours and hours of time in the saddle and our school provides that opportunity. Each student is exposed to expert instruction of all aspects of a horse's training:
Art of training, competing and teaching
Training in-hand work
Long-Lining
Foal Imprinting
Stable management and practical veterinary care
The practical hands on training is completed with classroom work including:
Lectures about the science of riding
Intense study of the USDF Judges programs
Study of the Aspirant Technique of training horses (a modern approach to classical dressage). The author of the books on the Aspirant Technique, Carolyn Rose, is the founer and head trainer at the Academy.
The Isaac Royal Academy of Equestrian Studies is designed to guide each student towards their professional goals in the horse world. More specifically it is meant for those who wish to excel in the fields of Dressage and Jumping. Our program has created the richest possible environment for learning and success. Our breeding program creates a learning environment from the birth of a foal, to starting under saddle and then the upper levels of training. Isaac Royal Farm hosts recognized shows that give students a chance to earn scores without any travel expenses. The horses, the knowledge, and necessary resources are all available in one place, making your goals much more attainable. We have had many successes amongst our students and graduates. Sandra Beaulieu is a graduate of our program and has become a USDF "L" Judge, a USDF Bronze & Silver Medalist, and shown Grand Prix during her studies at Isaac Royal Farm. She is currently judging and conducting clinics on the East Coast from Maine to Florida. Deanna Thompson is also a graduate of our Academy and is available to teach, train, and give clinics in North Carolina.
Students from all over the country have taken advantage of the high quality horses and instruction that we offer here at Isaac Royal Farm. We look forward to helping you pursue your dreams! Sandra Beaulieu lecturing on the Dressage Judges Program
