| Our equestrian theater is unlike any live performance you have seen. It combines the art of dressage with the art of live theater into a dramatic, emotional, and romantic production. Experience the horses and their riders in an upclose and personal setting, with a beautifully painted arena as a back drop. We would love to share more about our theater with you, and if you would like to learn how you could become a part of our theater; read on... |

Who Can Perform in the Theater?
The Equestrian Theater is open to all students, beginner to advanced. The purpose of the theater is to educate the public about dressage and showcase the skills and talents of our students as they learn and progress in their riding. Students learn choreography, acting skills, how to ride in quadrille, confidence in front an audience, and music editing. |
What Makes the Equestrain Theater so Special?
Our Theater is so unique because it is the only one of it's kind. We use well know musical themes; such as, Chicago, Pocahontas, Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Cinderella. We also draw inspiration from different cultures, forms of dance, and time periods; for our widely varied performance pieces. So, there is always something for everyone.

The rides are intricately choreographed to match each individual piece, with mulitple horses, individual horses or dancers with horses. We also have professional music editing, and a professional seamstress.
But what really makes our theater so unique is the combination of talents, in our help and
|
| in our performers. They spend long hours creating, choreographing, practicing, and preparing for each performance. Our theater is more a labor of love than anything else; love for horses, love for theater, love for performing, and love for dressage and the art of what we do. In each performance we hope to reach higher as performers and as riders, to make each performance more special than the last. And above all we have fun doing what we do and hope never to quit. |

How Did our Theater Get Started?
Carole Rose began this amazing Theater back in 1988, where it started as a small production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. It was directed towards the younger students as a fun way to express their creativity with their horses. Back when we |
| spliced classical music to cassette tapes. Carole moved to Maine and expanded her program for children and others. In the early 1990's she inspired some of her advanced students to create musical freestyles to popular musical themes. They proved to be extremely creative and she decided to build on it, so it started as a performance for friends and family. As those students grew up and progressed as dressage |

riders and trainers, the performace progressed with them. Soon it was at the professional level. Everyone shared such a love for the theater that they persued other talents that broadened the spectrum of the theater. Such as; dancing, music editing, fencing, and acting. Then the performances became a true |
theatrical production in every way. Our audience started to grow and grow, to the point where at one performance we had to add seats for about 50 more people than we had capacity for. At that moment Carole decided that we needed to set ourselves up so that we could expand our capacity, because our arena can only fit so many people.
